Abstract
Library, the source of information is witnessing diminishing physical presence of the users in view of their accessibility of information through Internet mostly among the scholars. Hence, Librarians initiatives using push and pull technologies and other associated initiatives are pragmatic to attract the users to the library by providing need based adequate information to the users of the university. Revitalizing the resources using various technologies and through skilled professionals have become imminent to generate more productive value of resources. This is primarily intended to optimize the use of library resources and justify Return on Investment. Taking this perspective into account, the authors intended to ascertain initiatives of the librarian undertaken to excel the use of library resources and services to the users communities especially the scholars. The present study, however, focus to the benefits received by the users of two various schools of the university which constitute science subjects.
