Abstract
Women-led green entrepreneurship in the beauty salon sector is developing as a sustainable business model influenced by eco-conscious consumer behavior. This study investigates the challenges and opportunities encountered by women entrepreneurs in the adoption of green practices within Kanyakumari District, India. Primary data were collected from 90 respondents and analyzed using SPSS, utilizing descriptive statistics, Chi-square tests, and One-Way ANOVA. The findings indicate that the high cost of products represents the primary challenge; however, collaboration with eco-friendly suppliers and the potential for market growth present significant opportunities. The analysis demonstrates consistent perceptions across different salon locations. The study concludes that by addressing the financial and training barriers faced by women-led green beauty salons, it is possible to enhance their sustainable growth. This progress not only contributes to environmental protection but also fosters economic empowerment for women.
