Abstract

The COVID-19 has caused a massive impact on global trade, with a wide-spread effect on the world economies. The present paper study the trade relations between three main trade players in the world (India, China, and the USA) during 2020-2025 The paper examined, including how the pandemic influenced the trade sectors of each nation, the steps they took to recover, and the future of trade relationships. The main goal of this research is to compare the trade tendencies and economic recovery of India, China, and the USA in the post-COVID era, regarding the period between 2020 and 2025. It will analyze the dynamics of trade development in each country after the pandemic, paying attention both to the process of recovery, changes in the sphere of exports and imports, as well as the adaptation of countries to the new global trade policies. The research considers the main variables like trade volumes, dynamics of exports and imports, strategies of the economic recovery and geopolitical factors to present the detailed comparison of the post-COVID trade recovery in these countries. Results show that although all three countries implemented their own recovery policies, India was self-reliant with its own policy called Atmanirbhar Bharat, China focused on innovation and becoming a technological leader with the Dual Circulation Strategy and the USA concentrated on reshoring its major industries and reinforcing multilateral trade agreements. The study further recommended that India, China and USA improve resilience and global trade relations in the event of future global disruptions.
