Abstract

Traveling to another country in order to receive any kind of medical facilities, called medical tourism. India is emerging as an important destination for world class medical treatment. The ancient Indian system of medicine which incorporates Yoga, Ayurveda, Unani, Sidha, Naturopathy and other traditional healing treatments are very unique and exotic. This medical expertise coupled with Allopathic and other modern methods become are new focused segment to project India as a Global Healing Destination. People from developed countries like USA and UK or other European countries travel to developing countries such as India for treatment because India offers some of the cheapest pricing options of treatment. Offers a good holiday there are no waiting lists queues to stand in. The doctors are comparable to anyone in the world and finally language doesnt pose a problem as most of the people speak English.
