Abstract

This paper deals with the steady state analysis of the single phase Self Excited Induction Generators (SEIG). The MATLAB has been used to predict the performance of the SEIG. In this paper the study of two optimization technique viz hookes jeeves(HJ) and genetic algorithm(GA) is done. The results obtained from both the techniques for the single phase SEIG are compared.

Keywords: Self Excited Induction Generators, Steady State Analysis, Steinmetz Model
