Abstract

The present paper is based on the information provided by students of Sahyadri Arts & Commerce Shivamogga Karnataka. Keeping in view the objectives of this study the investigator prepared a set of questionnaire and distributed to the users of internet resources and collects the required data. The study reveals that majority of the students learnt the use of Internet by assistance from the librarian/library Staff compared to formal training self- instruction and also face some problems i.e slow download, over load of information etc., It was also found that maximum users are satisfied with the use of Internet and resources/information available on the Internet. The present Study is conducted to find out how many students are interested and what is their attitude towards the use of web based information resources and Internet in both the colleges/study area.
