Abstract
The study on the topic “Use of e- Resources by the student of IPS Institute of Professional Studies) and other faculties of
University of Allahabad” was started in the month of July 2010. The present study has been carried out through questionnaire tools distributed
among the students of Institute of Professional Studies and other faculties of University of Allahabad.
The aim of this study was to various advantages of e-resources and to know the availability of different types of electronic resources and
services in the libraries of IPS and other faculties and to compare the frequency of use of electronic resources by the students of IPS and other
faculties and ascertain the advantages and the problems experienced by the students while accessing and using the electronic resources in the
library. According to the survey maximum students of IPS are satisfied with the resources available in the library comparative to other faculty
of university of Allahabad, sufficient Internet is being provided for fulfillment of reading purpose. According to the survey opinion of students
of is quite helpful in their study and research work as well as the staff is very co-operative and motivator.
