Abstract
This study links employees’ employer
brand perceptions with
their affective commitment and job
tensions when sequentially mediated
by their perceptions of psychological
empowerment and organizational
identification, respectively.
Based on the literature
survey a conceptual pat h
model was formulated. 810 executives
from Indian organizations
provided data for the study and
by applying different statistical
techniques, the proposed model
was tested against other competing
models. According to the results,
all the study hypotheses and
the proposed conceptual path
model were accepted. Subsequently,
the theoretical and practical
implications of the findings
were discussed. The study concluded
by noting its limitations
and proposing directions for future
research.
