Abstract

The purpose of this case study is to describe in detail the practical experiences and issues involved in developing diversity scorecard (DSC). While in the western countries, diversity initiatives have been rigorously emphasized, a developing country like India needs to go a long way in formalising the diversity management. Taking a casebased approach, the article focuses on how in one of the units (Vizag) of a large-sized Indian origin MNC, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), DSC was developed. Lessons learned from the exercise have been elaborated.
