Abstract

This study investigates the combined influence of employees’ perceptions of organizational culture and support on their organizational citizenship and counterproductive work behaviors when mediated by their levels of organizational identification. Data that were collected from 837 managerial executives working in organizations across India were subjected to various quantitative analytical techniques to test the hypotheses and the conceptual model. These analyzes led to the affirmation of all the study hypotheses as well as the proposed conceptual latent variable model. The study notes the theoretical and practical implications of the findings and concludes by mentioning its limitations and future research scopes arising therefrom.
