Abstract
The modern home appliances, updated
technology, employee friendly
policies, job sharing, vulnerable and
flexi-jobs increased female labor
force participation into paid economic
activities. Women are into every
sector. They play multiple roles
at home and their place of work.
Home and work are two different
worlds for working women. The mismatch
between the role expectations
and actual contribution at home and
at work place leads to imbalance.
The organizations with ineffective
employment policies, poor working
conditions, long working hours,
lower income, pressurized work environment
etc lead to boredom, frustration
and stress towards work. This
paper finds out the problems causing
work life imbalance for women
teachers at home and at work place.
