Abstract
This study examines the role of organizational culture in shaping gender inclusivity within organizations. A literature
review highlights the lack of empirical research on gender inclusivity in Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), particularly in the Indian context. Also, the existing studies tend to overlook the unique cultural dynamics of NBFCs, which may significantly influence gender diversity and inclusion practices in these organizations. This study aims to explore how organizational culture influences gender inclusivity in an NBFC and seeks to contribute to efforts to improve diversity rates. Open-ended semi-structured interviews were conducted on a sample size of 20 participants from an NBFC and thematic analysis was done to identify and develop codes, categories, and themes.
