Abstract
This paper presents results of a
study on the impact of organization
type (foreign exposure) on the employees’
perception of organizational
health, stress, and organizational
commitment by 244 employees
drawn from information technology,
financial services, railways,
and manufacturing organizations.
Results suggested that employees
from railways perceived
better organizational health and
scored significantly higher on organizational
commitment than
their counterparts from other organizations.
The results are discussed
in the light of the differential impact
of the global melt down on
different sectors.
