Abstract
This paper aims to assess the differences
in the perception of construction
labor productivity (CLP)
factors by the government officials
in the construction sector in
the state of Maharashtra and
Arunachal Pradesh. Data was
collected through a questionnaire.
The study compared the importance
of factors in both the states
by ranking them using the frequency
index. Results show that
significant differences exist in the
perception of the relative importance
of factors in both the states.
The study has made it easier to
evaluate the relative influence of
each factor on CLP and determine
the extent to which the level of
infrastructure growth and investment
of the region affecting it.
