Abstract

This research descriptively fathomed out how digital literacy impacted research productivity of librarians in South-South Nigerian federal universities. Population was 91 librarians while sample was 71 librarians. A validated questionnaire was utilised for data sourcing. Ninety-one questionnaire copies were distributed to the librarians, out of which 71 copies were retrieved and found fit for analysis. The rate of response was 78.02%. Weighted mean, standard deviation, simple percentages and linear regression were employed for data analysis, the outcome of which suggested that the librarians possessed low levels of both digital literacy and research productivity. Though the librarians’ digital literacy positively influenced their research productivity, the influence was not significant.
