Abstract

In the paper an attempt has been made to assess the attributes and hindrances associated with consolidation of Indian banks. The qualitative approach has been used with loads of crust facts and figure of the Indian banking in a way to discover concrete fact about the same. Primarily looked at the concrete facts pushes banks into consolidation and also looked at emerging presence of foreign banks and private banks in Indian system also enforce the stronger wave consolidation in Indian banking system. Thereafter, assess such specific definite hurdles come across the way of consolidation. Thus, this will bring into notice the area of bank need instant focus to streamline the growth of Indian Banking.
