Abstract
A long debate is going on if Board Gender Diversity enhances Corporate Social Responsibility of the organization. The answer to this question has been discussed at various forums and platforms yet no specific conclusion has been reached. This paper aims to review the existing literature on corporate governance, in particular gender diversity in board, and corporate social responsibility. The purpose of this paper is to review the research conducted by various authors an understand the linkage between Corporate Social Responsibility and Board Gender Diversity. The effort has been made through this paper to examine the relationship between board gender diversity & corporate social responsibility and provide more insightful link between them. Research also suggests the
direction for future research in this field and also highlights the importance of qualitative and longitudinal studies in this area.
