Abstract

Technology plays a major role in our daily lives. With the advancement in technological usage, there has been a crescendo of relative negative impacts as well. On similar terms, with the increase in the number of vehicles on road there have been several negative impacts of the same along with its positive outcomes. There has been a steady increase in the pollution levels in several cities across the world wherein the road density is positively related to the population density of the particular city. This has resulted in elevated global warming issues, health hazards, and loss of valuable man hours, to name a few. Some cities in the United States of America have constructed additional lanes to ease traffic, whereas some cities like London and Singapore, levy taxes and charges for fuel emission above permissible limits in a marked area.
