Abstract
The present paper is an effort to understand the
constitution of entrepreneurial brigade in India including
a look at initiatives put in by government and other
institutions functional in India. It includes an enquiry of
different policy initiatives and training methodologies
adopted in some of the other parts of the world. A high
percentage of failed and unsuccessful SMEs indicate
towards requirement of professional help in evaluating
a project or venture, followed by guidance for getting
finance and training support for viable and innovative
projects. Towards the end we zero down on finding
out different techniques, methods and content being
used effectively or desired, and how we can better
the deliverance of training for different categories of
aspirants. Amongst other methods it also looks into
apprentice as a method of training entrepreneurs.
The author reviewed published work and analysed the
issue at hand.
