Abstract
Work place is an amalgamation of a group of people with multifarious motivations and interests, differing levels of capacity and ability to work, varying health status and stamina, contrasting personalities, psyche, emotional and social intelligence. With such a complex combinations of multiple traits with innumerable permutations and
combinations, taking work from each one of them to his/her optimal capacity without hurting their fragile ego and to the satisfaction of individuals as well as the organization is a herculean task for the administrator. This task becomes further crucial when the employees are the intellectual flock, The so called knowledge professionals in teaching, software development and other related professions. One can find different kinds of people who will always make one realize that all motivational theories of human resource management are the real myth. More so, the upheaval of inter/intra group dynamics will pose an additional challenge for managers to face and resolve.
