Abstract
In this study we delineate the role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in the development of cold chain in the Perishable Food
Supply Chain (PFSC) in India. We have considered the case of the fruits and vegetables sector to understand the development
of the cold chain to handle existing problems from the farm to fork stage. It is our aim to analyze the status quo of the cold chain,
the challenges, that exist, the current and future policies which could be formulated to enhance the development of the cold chain.
