Abstract
In this paper a brief review of virtual reality application in orthopaedic treatment is presented. The use of virtual reality to treat patients with orthopaedic disorders has been discussed. Virtual reality is an interactive technology that enables for personalised treatment and could aid in the delivery of effective person-centered rehabilitation. In orthopaedics, virtual reality exergaming treatment has been shown to have a significant impact on pain reduction and enhanced joint mobility.
