Abstract
This study was undertaken to evaluate the existing positions of PG college libraries under
University of Kerala and to find out from users point of view what technology-aided services are
provided and their impact on quality of services. The key purpose of this study is to assess users rating of the quality of library service. Data have been collected with structured questionnaires distributed among the users of Post Graduate Colleges under University of Kerala. The survey was conducted in 14 selected Post Graduate College libraries, covering all the four districts under University of Kerala. In each college, 50 questionnaires were distributed and collected. The questionnaires were administered to the respondents on the spot. Some of the key findings of this study are there exists a significant difference between male and female post graduated college students in their levels of satisfaction of users of various services provided in the post graduate library. The users from arts subjects have more levels of satisfaction compared to users belong to science subjects.
