Abstract
The use of Social Networking Sites (SNSs) has rapidly become popular among all sections of people and has been an integral part of everyday life. Numerous social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, WhatsApp, Twitter are now instantly available to the average Internet user. The paper explains the purpose and limitations of the study. It analyses the use of SNSs by the faculty members of Pt R.S.University, Raipur. Moreover, the paper summarizes the findings of the study. Concludes with the remarks that there is scope for the Central Library, PRSU, Raipur to connect faculty members through some SNSs, by which the resources and services of the Central Library can be utilized to a maximum extents.
