Abstract
In Retailing Romance era, service sector playing
incredible role on global business especially Indian
retail sector occupied central position. In this sector,
employment opportunities abnormally increased and
izations (Globalization, Reutilization and localization
and Retailing Romance) are rising. In this connection,
organized retailers are opened their malls in towns
and villages. Simultaneously, Government of India and
State governments encourage organized retail sector
because high potential of employment. After
agriculture retail sector has been more potential for
employment. India, the pyramid is too wide at the
bottom and the size of the business is looking for
retailers. The philosophy of "R" (Retailer) is Right product,
Right-person, Right- place, Right- time,
Right-service and Right-price. So, organized retailers
are riding on unorganized retailers. In India
unorganized retailers are very high and unorganized
retailers facing lot of pressures and problems. In these
circumstances, I was selected East Godavari district.
Known has holy place and famous temples are
situated. It plays a significant role in tourism also.
Fruits and vegetables vendors are very high. My
research intention is to know the impact of organized
retailers on unorganized retailers. For this study,
prepared questionnaire and adopted simple random
sampling method and sample size is 2000. For this
analysis, with the help of frequency and cross tabs
statistical tool used. The major finding is a lot of
organized retailers impact on unorganized retailers.
My major recommendation is, Government should
be protected moms and pops and developed backend
infrastructure for unorganized retailers. All stake
holders give safety net to moms and pops.
