Abstract

In Retailing Romance era, service sector playing incredible role on global business especially Indian retail sector occupied central position. In this sector, employment opportunities abnormally increased and izations (Globalization, Reutilization and localization and Retailing Romance) are rising. In this connection, organized retailers are opened their malls in towns and villages. Simultaneously, Government of India and State governments encourage organized retail sector because high potential of employment. After agriculture retail sector has been more potential for employment. India, the pyramid is too wide at the bottom and the size of the business is looking for retailers. The philosophy of "R" (Retailer) is Right product, Right-person, Right- place, Right- time, Right-service and Right-price. So, organized retailers are riding on unorganized retailers. In India unorganized retailers are very high and unorganized retailers facing lot of pressures and problems. In these circumstances, I was selected East Godavari district. Known has holy place and famous temples are situated. It plays a significant role in tourism also. Fruits and vegetables vendors are very high. My research intention is to know the impact of organized retailers on unorganized retailers. For this study, prepared questionnaire and adopted simple random sampling method and sample size is 2000. For this analysis, with the help of frequency and cross tabs statistical tool used. The major finding is a lot of organized retailers impact on unorganized retailers. My major recommendation is, Government should be protected moms and pops and developed backend infrastructure for unorganized retailers. All stake holders give safety net to moms and pops.
