Abstract
As we know an Artificial Neural Network (ANN)
has the ability to change according to computational
inputs but on certain occasions this ability is affected
and the speed becomes slow. So in order to overcome
such a situation, Field Programmable Hardware
Devices are developed which are very well adapted
for the implementation of ANN with in-circuit
structure adaptation. In order to keep faster
communication, a much better network. Artificial
Neural Network imparts a kind of ability to the Field
Programmable Hardware Devices by which they can
follow the examples or patterns set earlier. In other
words we can say Artificial Neural Network (ANN)
is an information processing paradigm that is inspired
by the way biological nervous systems, such as the
brain, process information. The key element of this
paradigm is the novel structure of the information
processing system. It is composed of a large number
of highly interconnected processing elements
(neurons) working in unison to solve specific
problems. This paper elaborates the historical
background of an Artificial Neural Network (ANN).
There is a comparative study of an Artificial Neural
Network (ANN) and human brain. This paper will
be beneficial for beginners in an Artificial Neural
Network (ANN). We also discuss the some business
application on neural network here.
