Abstract
Hospitality is going on a digital revolution, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the way customers interact with a hotel or its services. It explores the potential of using AI-driven personalization tools to improve guest satisfaction, guest performance efficiency and competitive edge for hospitality companies. The paper presented on the basis of secondary data, industry reports, and the emerging empirical studies, explains how AI technologies, such as machine learning algorithms, predictive analytics, natural language processing, and recommendation systems, can assist hotels in offering their customers personalized services during the entire service delivery process, starting with the booking, check-in, and proceeding with in-stay services and post-stay communications. The paper will evaluate the potential of using AI technologies in the CRM system, smart rooms, chatbots, and dynamic pricing. Also it assesses the impact that personalized service provision has on the loyalty of the guests, on the maximization of revenue and on the maximization of brand differentiation. It is especially sensitive to the issues of governance of data, privacy, ethics and automation versus the human touch on the service-interaction. In cases of robust data infrastructure and employee training, the results show that AI-driven personalisation can greatly enhance superior decision-making, predict guests’ interests, and increase customer retention. However, problems with data security, biases of the algorithm, a high implementation cost and low rate of technological adoption may limit its usage particularly by small and mediumsized business organizations. The study results indicate that AI is not a replacement of human service excellence, but a contributor to this aspect and can be informed by the data and responsive in the present. It is imperative to strategically invest in the skills of AI and the ethical use of the data and empower the employees to be able to create sustainable value in the modern hospitality environment.
