Abstract
Dynamism is the call for the hour. Amidst fluctuating waves in post pandemic platform, the hospitality sector in West Bengal is undergoing transformative changes to define innovative pathways for immersive guest experiences. The research explores the factual information and related literature on the effect of employability skills, diversity and inclusion, digital competencies, apprenticeshipbased training, customer service skills, communication skills, professional development, and ethical values on hospitality sector. The prime aim of the study examines how skill-based and behavioural competencies are enablers for fostering sustainable livelihood outcomes towards hospitality progression and inclusive growth. The questionnaire-based measurement tool through statistical testing comprising descriptive statistics test for correlation, Structural Equation Modelling reveals the outcome of hospitality livelihood competencies. The reliability analysis reveals a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.97. The subject analysis indicates that internal consistency among the variables are excellent. The findings indicate that employability skills significantly influence customer service competencies, affecting livelihood outcomes, and highlighting the mediating role of customer-oriented capabilities. The study adds knowledge to the area of hospitality talent, skills and competencies of the future of sustainable hospitality and its workforce. The study makes a realistic attempt to uphold the behavioural and experience-based learning aspects for livelihood and economic sustainability paving pathway for smart hospitality revolution.
