Abstract
The rise in need for applications in terms of IoT technology is the major cause for designing efficient real-time environment monitoring systems. In this paper, an attempt was made to investigate the idea of real-time monitoring of environment data using ESP32 based printed circuit board. In this regard, the proposed design is meant to monitor the environment parameters like temperature and humidity by incorporating sensors to the ESP32 microcontroller. With respect to communication, ESP32 chip offers a high degree of flexibility as it is embedded with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication modules, which help to transmit sensor data wirelessly
to remote places, mobile applications, or any other
desired platforms for further analysis and monitoring purposes. An appropriate PCB design is adopted by incorporating necessary sensor interfacing modules, communication and power modules. To achieve compact and effective PCB design, it is designed with an appropriate layout for efficient signal and power routing. Low cost, energy efficiency and applicability for different application areas are some of the notable aspects of the proposed PCB design for environmental data monitoring purposes.
