Abstract
This systematic literature review synthesizes
empirical evidence to understand how role,
competencies, and strategic value Resource
Business Partners within the Indian
organizational context are transformed by
Artificial Intelligence (AI). The study synthesized
data from 26 peer-reviewed articles
by following Joanna Briggs Institute
(JBI) protocol for mixed-methods systematic
reviews and the PRISMA 2020 reporting
standards. Convergent integrated approach
was used to aggregate quantitative
and qualitative findings into a cohesive
narrative regarding impact of AI on
HRBPs in India. The main finding is that
AI is a transformative force re-architecting
the role of HRBPs in India and not merely
an additive tool. The study identifies digital
leadership and readiness as enablers,
distinguishing between anticipatory AI
anxiety as a barrier to adoption and
technostress as a challenge of implementation
in Indian organizations.
