Abstract
The present study is conducted on
a sample of 316 bank branch
managers of both public and private
sector banks to identify the
various job and family related
factors which cause stress among
them. The correlation analysis
reveals that health is associated
positively and significantly with
‘Highly Intricate job’, Performance
Constraints and Pressures’,
‘Insufficient Training and
Career Planning’, ‘Unproductive
Meetings’, ‘Unwanted Criticism’,
‘Lot of Travelling and Transfers’,
‘Inadequate Office Space and Improper
Layout’, ‘Corruption’,
‘Surveillance Required’, ‘Limited
Opportunities for Growth’, ‘Lack
of Authority’, ‘Family Obligations’,
and ‘Lack of time or Family
and Personal Care’.
