Abstract
This paper is an effort to bridge the existing gaps in the linkages between CSR and HRM. The paper utilizes a blend of systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis techniques of 484 Scopus-indexed articles. A thorough mapping of thematic categories in the literature has been complemented with content analysis of top-rated journal articles in the last 5 years. In addition to highlighting the influential works and sources, the authors categorize the progression of research in the field into four key themes: an amalgam of the two fields, HRM concepts that aid CSR, effective organizational variables, and an overview of optimal policies integrating the two complementary halves. The paper also outlines certain trends observed in the emerging research in recent years.
