Abstract
We live in a world where everything is available with just one click on the internet. That is why the role of CTI becomes focal in this context. CTI enables organisations to turn their raw data into actionable intelligence, improving cyber-resilience along the way. CTI application in security. This work covers the different kinds of cyber threat intelligence, its sources and uses. It also reveals why CTI can be a nightmare and what we may be destined to do with cybersecurity in the next step. A conventional CTI study commences with a tale of how CTI liberates organisations from being networks that need to wait until things happen and prepares them for when they do. CTI combines open-source information with internal records and threat intelligence platforms to develop an understanding of what threats might exist. This data allows organisations to react quicker to problems, handle threats better, and have a good sense of their surroundings. It further looks at the role that modern capabilities such as intelligence and machine learning supported by approaches such as big data analytics — can play in enabling greater threat sensing and analysis. It is important to state that CTI has its own problems even with all the good things that it does. This includes data overload, talent shortages and privacy and information-sharing issues. In the context of reducing risk, such research reveals that CTI is a key component in protecting organisations from cyber threats. CTI helps with cyber threats by predicting, preventing, and fixing them. This ensures that the digital world remains safer and more trustworthy for everyone. Cyber threat intelligence (CTI) plays a crucial role in cybersecurity.
