Abstract
Since people are the main resources in an organization, their productivity and efficiency depends upon the work quality they are experiencing in the organization. The basic purpose of Quality of Work Life (QWL) is to provide improved working conditions to the employees so that they contribute their best in the work in particular and organization in general. The study tries to investigate the measures of QWL taken by Dakshina Kannada Co-operative Milk Union Ltd (DKMUL). It was observed that the DKMULs QWL initiatives were exemplary and employees in majority have praised it. The study proposes a model of QWL that can be productively applied to DKMUL in particular and other relevant industries in
general based on the findings of the study.
