Abstract
The theory of workers’ participation at the workplace or what is called as WPM historically conceptualized with the emergence of industrializing capitalist societies as early as the Industrial Revolution, as workers struggled to have power over of the labor process and to democratize workplace management. Since then, workers have started participating in decisions touching their working surroundings at various times in countries with capitalist systems, and soon after, in those with socialist systems
