Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is revolutionizing our lives by connecting various devices and equipment’s with people and with intelligence pooling. IoT has got enormous capacity to change the people’s way of living. IoT has opened ways for newer possibilities and applications in the field of driver less vehicles, parking, connected vehicular traffic, supply chain of transport system etc. This paper envisages the effect of IoT in terms of the automobile sector to provide intelligent traffic system and management, supply chain management in auto and transport sector, new generation vehicles etc.
