Abstract
Several research on human behavior has traditionally examined individual dimensions such as motivation, cultural conditioning, and communication patterns. While these perspectives have contributed substantially to behavioral understanding, but they often adopt a unidimensional approach. This study posits a multidimensional framework for analyzing human behavior, that considers the combined influence of motivators, conditioning, and learned behavior, using a mixed-methods research design that integrates a structured survey with selective in-depth interviews, the study explores how individuals adapt their behavioral responses to varying situational triggers. The study also attempts to indicate that behavior is shaped not only by internal determinants but also by an external factor—the environment or situation. Behavioral divergence is observed across four distinct environmental contexts: informal social environments, formal social environments, predictable environments, and challenging or unpredictable environments. These results signify the need to analyze human behavior from a multidimensional perspective, which can lead to more nuanced findings often missed by undertaking a unidimensional approach.
